Connected Culture Program

Strengthen character. Create connection. Build trust and psychological safety. Thrive together.

A human-centred culture experience that helps teams and organisations understand their current culture, identify what matters most and strengthen the character, trust, relationships and everyday behaviours that enable people to belong and thrive.

The Challenge

When navigating to a new destination, what's the first thing you need to know?

Where you are now.

Culture is no different.

Before you can meaningfully strengthen culture, you need to understand its current state — what's working, where people are engaged, where disconnection exists and where change will have the greatest impact.

Culture isn't simply defined by values written on a wall. It's created every day through how people behave, relate, communicate, make decisions and respond when things get difficult.

Without meaningful insight into that lived experience, culture initiatives can easily focus on the wrong things.

Connected Culture starts by helping organisations understand where they are today, before deciding where they want to go and how to get there.

The Outcome

Connected Culture helps teams and organisations move from assumption to insight, and from cultural intent to everyday practice.

The program helps organisations:

  • understand the current state of culture and employee engagement
  • identify the cultural strengths worth protecting and building upon
  • pinpoint the most important opportunities for growth
  • understand differences between teams and sub-cultures
  • deepen  individual and collective character awareness
  • strengthen trust, relationships and connection
  • understand how people prefer to feel valued
  • create shared language around culture and behaviour
  • translate insight into focused culture priorities and action
  • build the collective habits that enable people and teams to thrive.

The result is not simply better culture data. It's greater clarity about where you are, where you want to go and how you’ll get there.

Who It's For

Connected Culture is designed for teams, leaders and organisations seeking to intentionally understand and strengthen their culture.

It can be particularly valuable for:

Leadership teams wanting evidence-based insight to help them understand and intentionally shape culture.

Teams seeking stronger trust, relationships, connection and ways of working.

Growing or changing organisations wanting to understand how culture is evolving and intentionally shape what comes next.

Organisations navigating transformation where culture, engagement and bringing people together are critical to successful change.

The program can explore culture across an entire organisation while also identifying differences and opportunities within specific teams and sub-cultures

How It Works

Connected Culture combines proprietary culture diagnostics, character awareness, facilitated dialogue and practical culture development.

The experience journey steps:

Understand → Discover → Define → Act → Embed → Thrive

1. Understand where you are

The Team Culture Engagement Survey provides the starting point.

Developed from more than seven years of research into what engages people within team cultures, the survey provides a detailed picture of the organisation's current cultural landscape.

Insights include:

  • People Engagement Matrix — plots individual responses across culture and employee      engagement dimensions
  • Team Culture Engagement Heat Map — highlights patterns and priorities to help      focus culture strategy
  • 7 Layers of Team Culture — identifies strengths and growth opportunities across the layers that shape team culture
  • 5 Levers of Influence — explores the factors that can influence and      strengthen culture
  • 5  Ways of Being Valued — identifies how team members most want to experience      value and recognition
  • Culture Strengths — identifies the team's three strongest cultural attributes
  • Growth  Opportunities — identifies the three most important opportunities for development
  • Team Voice — captures where people themselves believe greater focus could      improve culture and performance.

Results can be explored at both whole-of-culture and sub-culture levels, helping leaders understand not just the overall picture but where different experiences may exist across the organisation.

2. Make sense of what matters

Data alone doesn't change culture.

An experienced Culture Expert works with leaders and teams to interpret the findings, explore what sits behind the results and identify the cultural strengths and opportunities that matter most.

This turns information into shared insight and meaningful conversation.

3. Define where you want to go

Using the insights from the diagnostic and facilitated conversations, teams develop greater clarity about the culture they want to create.

Together, they identify the character, behaviours, relationships and ways of working that will enable people and the organisation to thrive.

4. Turn insight into action

Culture priorities are translated into focused strategies, actions and everyday practices.

Rather than trying to change everything, the program helps organisations focus effort where it can have the greatest impact.

5. Embed and evolve

Culture is created through repeated behaviours and experiences, not one-off interventions.

Connected Culture supports teams to embed new ways of working, continue the conversation, learn from experience and strengthen culture over time.

Proof

At the heart of Connected Culture is the Team Culture Engagement Survey — proprietary IP developed by our partner ShareTree  —  from more than seven years of research into what engages people within team cultures.

Rather than relying on a single engagement score, the diagnostic provides multiple perspectives on culture and engagement — from organisational patterns and sub-cultures through to cultural strengths, growth opportunities and how people want to feel valued.

These insights are then combined with experienced facilitation and culture strategy to help organisations move from measurement to meaningful action.
